What to Expect On Board When You Plan a Cruise with Fathom

When you plan a cruise with Fathom, the modern 704-passenger Adonia, your home for the seven days of your journey, is a small adventure in itself. In addition to nourishing your hunger to make a difference, your voyage will also nourish your body with thoughtfully prepared, Dominican-inspired meals that include a variety of vegetarian options. There’s a pool, a gym, even a full-sized library. And, of course, there’s the infinite mystery of the wide, wide sea around you. So your spirit gets a bit of extra nourishment too.

But, beyond its built-in amenities, what matters most about the Adonia is its size. It’s small enough to let you get genuinely acquainted with your fellow travelers: the people who share your commitment to deeper, more meaningful travel. And, for the Fathom voyager, that’s the most important amenity of all.

The Adonia’s light and airy buffet restaurant makes for a comfortable and relaxed dining venue. And with a large outside dining area, this is the perfect place to enjoy the sun with a spot of lunch or watch the sun go down over dinner.

Lido Grill

The Lido Grill offers great food in a relaxed, outdoor setting. Serving freshly cooked favorites such as Cuban sandwiches, Dominican-inspired burgers, and flavorful jerk chicken, the Lido café offers a relaxed alternative dining experience throughout the day.

Ocean Grill

This dinner favorite brings you the best of land and sea – with dishes ranging from fresh ceviche and grilled lobster tail to local favorites including Cuban Bistec and Dominican stew. Don’t forget to save room for the Caribbean-inspired dessert menu.

Pacific Restaurant

Whether you’re joining for our Rise and Shine Breakfast, a hearty on-board lunch, or a healthy dinner, in the Adonia’s main restaurant you can enjoy sumptuous food all day long, served by our friendly and efficient staff.

Crow’s Nest

The Crow’s Nest is the perfect spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink. The bar’s elevated views from the top of the Adonia, live music, and a large selection of drinks available guarantee a fantastic evening. Full height windows offer a panoramic view of the ocean, making the Crow’s Nest an ideal spot to watch the sun dip below the horizon.

Curzon Lounge

Boasting a beautiful parquet dance floor and room for a live band, the Curzon Lounge is the perfect place to gather with friends and dance the night away to authentic island rhythms.

Glass House (Wine & Tapas)

The Glass House features carefully selected new-world wines by the glass as well as beer and cocktails. With its intimate setting, the Glass House is perfect for exploring new tastes and engaging with like-minded travelers sharing this one-of-a-kind voyage.

After a day exploring, relax with a glass of wine, cocktail or beer in Anderson’s. This intimate bar features comfortable seating, full length windows and a grand piano making it the perfect place to unwind and share a few stories with your new-found friends.

Raffles Coffee Bar

Raffles is the daytime hub of the Adonia, where you’ll find fresh coffee and delicious chocolates throughout the day, and expertly prepared cocktails in the evening.

The Oasis Spa is a peaceful retreat on board the Adonia where you can relax in steam rooms, enjoy a range of treatments, or take a soak in the soothing therapy pool with its invigorating water jets. The ship’s expert staff can guide you to choose the most beneficial and relaxing treatment.

Fitness Center

The Adonia’s gym is equipped with all the state-of-the-art equipment you’d find in your gym back home. Friendly instructors are on hand to show you how to use the equipment and the gym boasts a large studio area where a range of fitness classes are held throughout the day.

The Adonia’s main pool is flanked by two large whirlpool spas and offers a large number of sun loungers for you to relax on, soak up the sun, or grab a refreshing drink with friends.

The Adonia’s library is the perfect place to escape with a good book. Featuring a full size fireplace, frescoed ceiling and an abundance of comfortable chairs, the library’s extensive collection of books covers everything from the latest fiction to travel books that let you learn more about the Carribbean country you’re about to visit.

The base price of your trip includes a comfortable stateroom for a good night’s sleep. It’s one of the great advantages of shipboard travel: Unpack once, and you’re done. So you can spend the next seven days concentrating on more important things.
